How can i speed up my computer?
*Murmygesig* asked:
ive deleted the temporary internet files, temp files, defragged my pc, ran disk cleanup, uninstalled unneccesary programs, ran spybot several times, ran my virus software, disabled startup programs that i dont need, and even killed processes that is useless to me. my pc runs heavy slow. browser loads slow and i can hardly watch movies on the net without it freezing and stuff. i literally did everything i could.
is there a program out there that is REALLY a good one to clean up your registry? all the unwanted keys etc in there that is no longer in use? one that will actually speed up my pc? i dont know what is causing it. it wasnt like this when i bought it.
i have an acer aspire 4520, 744MB RAM and 100GB hard drive.

also, i tried to delete a 007 spy software program on my pc but when i go into task manager and click on view processes from all users, i see that it is still running. there are like ten processes running with that 007 program. i cant delete them coz i have no permission. how do i log in as administrator? i am the owner so why doesnt it allow me to stop the processes? i used spybot to remove it but it shows up here in task manager.
please reply only if your serious about helping. i googled it too but find nothing thats telling me what i dont kknow already.

I had that problem on my old desktop because the antivirus software was bogus you might want to get the mcafee virus zapper (I forget the technical name) and get rid of that also you might want to consider getting a new computer

Okay a couple of things. Sounds like you have malware (007). Get Malewarebytes Antimalware at malewarebytes.org. Run that to get rid of the 007 malware. Get Advanced System Care from Iobit to clean up your registry and boost your internet connection. Both are free. Definitely, upgrade your RAM to 2 Gig’s if you can. Also, review how you connect to the internet i.e. cable direct or cable via wireless, DSL or WiFi. Find the optimized settings for your particular connection.
That should do it.

Most computers actually run slow because of a hidden part of your system, which is constantly being used by Windows. This part of your PC is called the registry and is the central database for Windows, which stores everything from your latest emails to your desktop wallpaper. It’s one of the most important parts of Windows and can easily make your PC run slow. The more corrupt registry files your computer has, the more it struggles to read them. The files which makes it run slower and slower. To fix this, you simply need to use a registry cleaner . These are small software tools which actually work by scanning through the registry and fixing any bad files that are in there. This then allows Windows to read as many files as it wants, when it wants to.
